Skills & Plugins
Agent skills I build and use. Each one is a plain SKILL.md that works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other agents. Synced from GitHub on every deploy.

apis
Add outside services to an app the safe way: one guide and checker for every API key (where to get it, its name, where it lives, a cheap test), web search (Brave, Serper, SerpAPI with fallbacks), voice (Deepgram speech-to-text, ElevenLabs text-to-speech), an AI model router (OpenRouter, Groq, OpenAI, Gemini, NVIDIA) and rate limits with Upstash Redis. Use for "API key", "check my keys", "add search", "Brave", "Serper", "SerpAPI", "speech to text", "text to speech", "Deepgram", "ElevenLabs", "which AI model", "OpenRouter", "Groq", "NVIDIA", "Gemini", "rate limit", "Upstash", "Redis", or "/shipyard:apis".

design
Choose or change how an app looks: colours, fonts, layout, homepage style, dark mode, icons. Use for "design", "how my app looks", "change the look", "change the colours", "change the fonts", "copy this website's style", "make it look like", "3 directions", "/shipyard:design", or the sentences "Shipyard: use the <name> look" and "Shipyard: use direction <A|B|C> for <app>".

email
Set up email on your own domain and send app emails: receive at any @yourdomain address in Gmail (ImprovMX catch-all), reply from it in Gmail (Send mail as through Resend SMTP), SPF, DKIM and DMARC so mail is not junked, DNS steps for Papaki, Cloudflare or any registrar, a deliverability test, and short owner emails such as "<App> is live" with the app as sender. Use for "email on my domain", "hello@ address", "ImprovMX", "forward to Gmail", "send mail as", "SPF", "DKIM", "DMARC", "emails go to spam", "Papaki DNS", "notify me when deployed", "is live email", or "/shipyard:email".

launch
Take an app from a free test address to a real product: own domain, real sign-up emails, privacy and terms pages, payments, an email list, phone and desktop apps, and a go-live check. Use for "launch", "go live", "custom domain", "real emails", "privacy policy", "terms", "payments", "Stripe", "subscriptions", "newsletter", "app store", "play store", "publish to the app stores", "Capacitor", "TestFlight", "store screenshots", "desktop app", or "/shipyard:launch".

new-app
Build and publish a new web app, or bring an existing app up to standard. Use for "new app", "build me an app", "make a website", "publish my app", or "upgrade my app".

new-skill
Build your own skill or plugin for coding agents, or add one to Shipyard. Interviews you for a spec, pushes back on weak ideas, reads your codebase and agent chats, recommends building on Shipyard or from scratch, then scaffolds SKILL.md, tests, plugin manifests and publishing notes. Use for "new skill", "make a skill", "build a plugin", "my own plugin", "turn this into a skill", "add a skill to Shipyard", "publish my skill", or "/shipyard:new-skill".

ops
Keep a live app healthy: error alerts and a logs page, scheduled health checks, code review on every pull request, auto-merge for small safe changes, regular project review, backups, and how problems get fixed. Use for "errors", "logs", "monitoring", "health check", "alerts", "code review", "CodeRabbit", "auto-merge", "dependabot", "backup", "self-healing", "project review", "keep my app healthy", or "/shipyard:ops".

setup
First-time Shipyard setup. Connects GitHub, Vercel and Supabase, stores keys safely, saves defaults. Use for "setup", "get started", "connect my accounts", "settings", or when new-app says setup is not done.

video
Make a motion-designed product video of the student's app (promo, feature walkthrough, how-to) with an AI voice, light and dark, wide and phone cuts, no screen recording. Use for "video", "product video", "demo video", "promo", "explainer", "how-to video", "trailer for my app", or "/shipyard:video".
